We call it the “Troop Guitar” because it was conceived as a way to support our troops while they protect us and the American way of life. By the end of 2009 we had, through the Close Music Foundation, provided 112 of these guitars to our service men and women on the field of battle and in hospitals.

This is a professional, full size, steel string, sunburst, dreadnaught guitar. The top is spruce, the sides and back are mahogany. It has deluxe tuners and a rosewood fingerboard. It is built with carefully chosen material, glues and finish to hold up under battlefield conditions.

It comes as a package which includes: the Troop Guitar, strung with Curt Mangun steel strings, an extra set of strings, shoulder strap, picks, an elite standard gig bag and the best intro guitar book GO Guitar.          $395.00                                                                                          

Each $150.00 donation to the Close Music Foundation assures that another guitar package will go to our troops. For each Troop guitar purchased at the retail price Harvest will arrange for a troop guitar to go to our troops.
